In a move that heralds new interest in Africa as an investment destination by the American company, HYDRO-LINK, a New York-based energy investor, to build a 1,150-kilometer (720 miles), approximately $1.5 billion electricity transmission line between Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swiss-based Mitrelli Group, which has joined as a major investor and partner, bringing decades of experience in Angola to help deliver the project.
